Touchpad giving Error Code 10

I have a brand new Vostro 1720 laptop.  I installed Server 2008 R2 for work on it.  For about 4 days after installation everything was fine.  Now, periodically, my touchpad gives me an error code 10, device cannot start error when I boot up the computer.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the drivers for Vista 64-bit and Windows 7 64-bit with no luck.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
