Problem with my Bluetooth Mouse or Bluetooth hardware

Hi there, Im running an XPS M1730, with Vista, patched up to the latest patches.
Anyway, I also use a Microsoft Bluetooth NoteBook Mouse 5000, and every so often it becomes unresponsive for about 20 seconds and then comes back online. This seemed to happen soon after an auto update, I dont recall exactly when.
Anyway, in teh event viewer, the following warning appears when the mouse goes offline:

Can anyone please help me? This is driving me nuts!!

Many thanks

I'm having the same problem as well. Have the same model bluetooth mouse. Tried googling the error message but that is not really helping. My system is a XPS M1530 running Vista SP1.

Never did fix it, ended up having to buy another mouse with its own dongle, the bluetooth just doesnt work on this laptop (I think our laptops share the same bluetooth module). Got no useful support when I called dell Im afraid.
