NVME or not please

After too many hour of searching please help. I have the Inspiron 15 7559 with mother board model 0H0CC0 revision A00. It has an "M" keyed slot with an "M" and "B" slotted SSD (SanDisk Z400s M.2 2280 128GB). I purchased a Samsung 960 Evo NVME drive at the suggestion of a local retailer. Will it work? Or does this slot only support SATA3? Thank you in advance for your help.

This model works only with SATA M.2 drives - not NVMe.

It doesn't work. You need the SATA III M.2 interface which is the 850 Series.www.amazon.com/.../ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00

I agree, the specifications document for that unit shows only a SATA 6 Gbps Storage availability.  If it did PCIe then it would also show that.
