My adaptor was blown out of its outlet!
We were startled lifeless this morning.
The adaptor of our laptop was blown out of its outlet, shorting out all major fuses...:emotion-45:
It created a big blow / flash and really shocked us!
Lucky for us our electrical sytem is in great shape, so no accidents happened...
The adapter is an original one and I would like to contact DELL about this but can't find where.
Has anyone ever experienced the same and does anyone know how to contact DELL?
Already thanks, Nealz.

I guess for a better awnser.. you can call - 1-877-293-1197 if you have an inspiron/xps system or 1-800-727-1100 if you have a business system (a latitude or precision workstation or vostro)

I really hate to tell you this, but that's not the adapter that's going to be within your electrical system. And were you watching it when the plug came out? Because I would venture a guess it got pulled or tugged out because the force required to push out a plug would be alot more than your average power company is going to push to a home.
