Latitude E7240 - Docking and Charging Problems

Hello,

I have a similar problem that was posted earlier - when docked to the E-Port docking station, the laptop was not charging and now the computer will not turn on at all when connected to the AC power adapter. 

The BIOS was all up-to-date and was still receiving the error message:

The battery currently attached to the system will not supply enough power to dock for it to function.  Please attach AC power to the dock for it to function normally

F1 - continue

F2- change setup options

Is there any way to fix this?
