Inspiron 17-5759, Intel HD Graphics 520, Issues with software fields
I am having problems with an Intel video driver. This started a while ago but I finally tracked down the issue. At this point, Intel is telling me that this is a Dell Issues because of the compatibility of its drivers.
Background. Whenever I am trying to close a Word or other Office document, the Save As box usually comes up asking me to Save Save As or Cancel. Now, this box is blank. Nothing in there. I am having the same problem with other applications such as my document management software. Last week, it started with Chrome. When I launch, the entire window is blank. After I tried to address this with Microsoft and spending dozens of hours on tech support calls, I started playing around with stuff myself. Today I checked out the display adapters. I updated everything first to see if that solved the problem. It did not. Then I opened Display Adapter items in Device Manager (Windows 10 and I first tried disabling the AMD Radeon driver. No Change. Then I tried disabling the Intel HD Graphics 520 driver. Everything worked (except all the items that rely on this driver, such as Extended Display). I have tried updating the driver, rolling it back, but nothing helps. I have run countless anti-virus scans and Windows updates but no help. After going through this with Intel, they claim that my Windows 10 laptop isn't compatible with Windows 10 drivers for Intel or that there are Dell drivers specific to this unit that are causing the problem. I am hoping that someone here can help. I have figured out some workarounds, but some of my web applications will only work with Chrome for some reason, so I can't use them now.
Specific model is Inspiron 5759 i7-6500 64 bit Windows 10 Home 16 GB Installed RAM

And did you have this issue in March 2016 when the computer had our original Intel HD driver installed? You should try forcing our driver back on =

Intel is wrong about driver incompatibility. The September 2015 Inspiron 17-5759 is validated with Windows 10 and the Intel HD Graphics driver. You can see it here =

and here =

and here =
This model shipped on September 2015. How long have you had it?
How long have you had Windows 10 installed on it?
How long was Windows 10 installed on it before this software issue appeared?
After testing both of our offered Windows 10 Intel drivers,
20.19.15.4531, A06
21.20.16.4590, A11
Did you run the free Intel Driver Update utility to test the retail Intel driver?

Chris,
I have had this PC since March, 2016 . Windows 10 was pre-installed.
I tried to run the Intel utility, but the dialog box that came up was blank. I can tell by moving my mouse across the box that there are some items in the box, but nothing is visible to me.
Intel says that I should install a new version of the HD 520 driver, but when I try, my PC says that the OS is not supported. Please help!

Hello Chris. Well, guess what problem I am having again. Yes, the blank boxes. This time it started (yesterday) when I installed the new Dell update. How do I roll that back?
