Inspiron 15R 3520, Audio issues, VLC

I've a dell laptop inspiron 15r 3520. I've bought it on 1st january 2013. I'd installed VLC media player for only 2 days in the beginning, but from 24th february the sounds no good. I'd complaint to dell customer care service but they said they not belongs to vlc so please help me out...i'm really frustrated by DELL's service.

See our VLC media Player FAQ .

If you set the volume control on VLC player to maximum (200%) or near to max you will hear distortion in the audio and you might ruin your speakers.

I'd installed VLC media player for only 2 days in the beginning, but from 24th february the sounds no good.

Try listening to audio using Windows Media Player. If all audio is distorted then the speakers might have been damaged during those 2 days you were using VLC Player.

Dell Totally sucks even i got the same issue after installing VLC one of my speakers on the system went bad no sound at all on the speaker, and when i called dell they said i will have to pay Rs  1250.00 To get the speakers replaced and with dell has worst  customer service  ever i had experienced, hence i have decided to never buy a dell product in life and never recommend any one to buy dell... :emotion-12: .... Better buy HP , Acer or Lenovo. atleast their warranty covers everything not just giving reawsons like dell does.

Hello. Did you read the "verified answer" in the FAQ? It is to send a private message to our moderator Terry_B who will attempt to get you straightened out. Click on his name to get to his profile page where you click "start conversation", then include your full name and service tag number, and case number.

P.S. I understand your anger and agree with you, but note that HP also denies service for damage from the VLC player.
