How do I enable dell audio pop-ups?

I have an Inspiron 5558 and usually when i plug stuff in to my audio jack there pops up this dell audio window (usually looks like this http://prntscr.com/g8gg0w  where you choose what you plugged your device into as. I think i disabled them so can someone please tell me how to enable them again? I am running Windows 7 on my device (if it makes any difference).

 Thanks

Not sure whether that laptop uses Dell Audio or MaxxAudio Pro, but you should find one or the other in your Start menu.  For Dell Audio, open that up and I think the option you want is under Advanced > Notifications.  For MaxxAudio Pro, open that up, go to Playback, click the Advanced menu expansion at the bottom center of the interface, and check "Show pop-up dialog when device is connected".
