Support for 5.1 audio

In my Dimension 4500, I have a Creative SBLive! card, but I'm not sure of the model number, or how to find it short of opening the case. I'm wondering if it will support 5.1 sound for new speakers I want to purchase.

definitely it can support it. Soundblaster has like 5 holes at the back. different colors (pink,green,blue, black, i cant remember the other one.)

Yip it is 5.1 you just need to go into control panel and select sound and choose the 5.1 speaker set up i think to activate the other ports, hope it sounds sweet!!!! would love 5.1 but 2.1 is good enough for me!
