(Redirected) Upgrading my old Alienware Aurora (ssd and wifi)
Hi guys,
This may be a noob question (because I am one lol) but ive got an old model alienware Aurora shipping date was 23/03/2010. [Admin NOTE: Service tag removed per TOU policy]
I upgraded my rig to a GTX970 and 16GB of ram. Now I want to install an SSD. Now for the noob part, when I opened up my Aurora I saw ive got 3 slots left for SSD/HDD but on all 3 remaining cables it says "HDDSATA2, up until 4.
Does this mean I have to get a new SATA cable for the SSD? Also, do you guys think this is a nice SSD or do you have other suggestions?: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 2.5 SATA III
Last thing, I never opted for a wifi adapter or internal card. Do you guys have any suggestions? It should be fast because of multiplayer gaming.
Help is really appriciated. Thank you and cheers.
