Perc 6i RAID Controller BIOS
I there any way to get past the RAID Controller BIOS if you get the error "Number of devices exceeded the maximum limit of devices per quad" error? I can't seem to get into the BIOS setup menu or boot into my windows drive that isn't part of the RAID.

The configuration may not be supported, but has been working without any issues for three plus years. I noticed I am not on the newest firmware and the latest update "Fixed an issue where the user might see a misleading error message stating that Number of devices exceeded the maximum limit of devices per quad." I can't seem to figure out how I am supposed to update the firmware if I cannot get past the bios with the card installed and connected to the drives.

Until you disconnect the drives you aren't getting past anything EVER.

OK, thank you for that. I have disconnected the drives and am able to boot into Windows. I have tried to run the firmware update, but the update fails after analyzing my systems inventory. Any suggestions?
