Optiplex 990, EVGA GTX 1050 Ti upgrade?
I want to buy a new graphic card. But I don't know if my system will accept it. I want to add the EVGA GTX 1050 Ti.

First, understand that the 2011 Optiplex 990 is not a "gaming" system. That being said, open the case and verify that the motherboard has a blue PCIe x16 slot for an added video card. The EVGA GTX 1050 Ti requires a minimum 300w PSU (power supply unit). The Optiplex 990 shipped with PSU ranging from 204w to 265w. So the next thing you will need to do is upgrade the PSU.

GVY79 053N4 Optiplex 790 990 Mini Tower 265watt looks like its standard so Most EPS12v power supplies like the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B1 110-B1-0750-VR should be fine.
