OptiPlex 3050. Windows wrong Hdmi output.

hey. need some help here ..

I just bought an OptiPlex 3050 .. plug it in with hdmi to my Samsung tv.

First boot everything went fine ... Update windows to newest.
it switched my tv to 1440x900 and enlarged the image.

So can only see the top of the desktop screen on my tv.

restored to an earlier build worked fine again .. so tried update again .. same outcome ..

looked round hoping for a fix but without luck.
could not restore build again .. so got it set to default settings. and started over again ..

Boot up thats looked nice. Fits screen and everything .. 

login / setup screen .. 1440x900 and only the top i can see.

so impossible to create an account and log in again

help ??
