Missing drivers

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on to my Dell Vostro 3450. Now I have no connections available at the bottom right of my pc. Can someone send me a link to install the correct driver so I can finally use the internet again?

Did you open the Win 7 Network and Sharing Center  to configure your network?

Drivers for the 3450 are here:

www.dell.com/.../drivers

You have to install them in order, starting with Dell System Software Utility, then chipsets, video (both AMD and Intel), audio, network, etc.  If the chipsets aren't installed first, other drivers may not install or may not work.

Since there may be several different hardware-specific drivers listed  (eg, WiFi), you can use your Service Tag on the Support site to find drivers, unless you already know exactly what hardware is installed.  And if more than one similar driver is listed, choose the one with the highest version number (eg, AMD video).

BTW: This is the Desktop forum. You'll be better off posting future questions about the 3450 on the Laptop forum. en.community.dell.com/.../3518
