Mic auto-mutes please help
My microphone auto-mutes. I have windows 7 Professional, and I'm running IE 9 - I need these for work. Everything was great until earlier this year when all of a sudden my mic in every program I use started auto-muting. I don't have an svchost.exe file to remove (microsoft recommends I remove it). I've tried everything on every forum I can find. Please help.

We need to know the model computer. Note that this is the Desktop forum. Desktops don't have mics.
