Max Internal HD Size - XPS-8000

What is the largest capacity hard drive the XPS-8000 will support internally (SATA2)?

It depends on what OS you are running and the BIOS.  Generally there is a 2.2 TB limit for drives formatted to MBR which Windows XP through Windows 7 use.  You could format it to GPT which would erase that limit but is only supported from Windows Vista forward.  You also have the BIOS to contend with.  When the XPS 8000 was out, it wasn't a big thing to have hard drives past 1 to 2 TB, so the BIOS may only allow up to 2 TB of space.
