Invalid Signature Detected on restart
I have a Inspiron 3647 that hs started having the following error on startup. Its a Red box with the following 'Invlaid Signature Detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in Setup'. After selecting OK, it will continue the restart.
Not exactly sure what to check but I did go into the BIOS and the Secure Boot Control is set to Enabled.
At this point, not sure what to do.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

You may want to disable Secure Boot in BIOS setup...

I tried that and I was unable to complete restart. ACRONIS appeared in the upper left corner of screen. I
I have Western Digital software ACRONIS installed but not don't know how that appeared. I did see that the First boot device is labeled UEFI: Acronis Loaded. I would think that the First boot device would point to the C: drive

Sorry, not familiar with using Acronis, but it might be configured to load at startup for automatic backups...just a guess...
Maybe you need to this post problem on their forum?

I had that problem when using Acronis to copy over a partition. AFAIK the BOOTMGR binary was the wrong version. The bootsect and bootrec utilities on the Recovery Console did not update BOOTMGR; I had to manually copy it over from another installation.

The malware/virus has modified the boot. Time to scorched earth reinstall.
Disable driver signature enforcement.
