Inspiron 660 Desktop, bad audio
Audio with channels like YouTube is really inferior. CNN etc are OK. I have tried each logical step on support including downloading latest drivers. But sound is terrible. External Logitech speakers two.

The Inspiron 660 desktop motherboard has three PCIe x1 slots. You could always simply disable the onboard audio in the BIOS and install a better PCIe x1 sound card.
* Disconnect the external speakers from the Inspiron 660 desktop rear green audio out jack
* Connect headphones to the rear green audio out jack. Test YouTube, CNN, etc. Is the sound better or worse than when using the external speakers?
* Disconnect the headphones from the rear green audio out jack
* Connect the headphones to the front headphone out jack. Test YouTube, CNN, etc. Is the sound better or worse than when using the external speakers? Better or worse than the rear green audio out jack?
