E: drive missing

for starters, sorry, but I'm not a PC person.
my problem is that my E: drive is not recognized. it is the flash reader (is that right?)
it reads my digital camera card, etc.
it won't read the card, and doesn't show up as a drive in My Computer.
my C: and D: drives are there.

XPS 400
Windows XP Media Center edition version 2002 service pack 2

thanks in advance

I'll have to pull the box out.
I'll try it later and let you know.
what if that isn't it?

thanks again for the help.

This happens fairly often. Sometimes the cable just comes loose. Check out inside. Try replugging the cable.

Is this the built in media card reader from Dell or something else?

Did you try uplugging it and then plugging it back in?

Did you try it on another machine?
