DME Remote Control

I would like to use the IR Remote Control included with Dell Media Experience to generate mouse clicks. Specifically I need to use the remote to trigger slides in a Power Point presentation. Obviously this is purely a software issue, so hopefully there is a solution, 3rd party or otherwise.

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, it seems it works as-is. The arrow keys of the remote can be used to control Power Point. So now I have a new problem. The other buttons, such as Home, will over-ride Power Point if pushed. The home button is right below the arrow buttons, and it is easy to accidentally hit it (especially considering how large it is).

Is there a way to disable the other DME functionality of the remote?
