Dimension 2400 memory
Im wondering if you need to populate the memory slots with the same size chips or not.
I dont see anything in the online documentation that state the 2 slots have to be populated with the same size memory chips, but the online documentation isnt always 100% all there.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
No the memory does not have to be installed as matched pairs but the specifications do need to match. For this system that means DDR SDRam in a PC 1600, 2100 or 2700.
