DELL Precision T5610 wont boot??

So earlier today I was playing a game on my Dell precision T5510 and all of a sudden it powers down and wont boot back up...every single time i turn it on it shows led # 3 and 4 blinks number 4 twice then turns on led 1 and never continues..I have a Geforce GTX970 in the PCI connector and it has both processor sockets full and has 8GB RAM per core...and from the error sheet provided for the computer it states that it has something to do with the memory. Please tell me if im doing something wrong because tech support has been one massive circle.

Can you verify which model of Precision you have?

Try removing the riser card and see if you still get the same error. If the error is cleared, you know that it's to do with the memory on the riser (or the riser itself). If it doesn't clear the error, start swapping memory from the riser with the memory on the motherboard until you isolate the failing part

Thanks for the service tag (I've removed it from your post for security reasons)

It's a T5610 you have which explains why there is no riser card - most precisions had a riser card which is an additional card which takes the second CPU, but on the 5610 both CPUs are on the motherboard.

First of all, try removing, then re-seating all the memory, power back on and see if that makes a difference.

If not, can you remove CPU2 and all the memory, then try each memory stick, one at a time, in the slot marked DIMM1_CPU1? If one of the memory sticks is faulty, the system should start up ok with all the other memory sticks.

If it starts ok with them all individually, that would suggest that there is an issue with one of the memory slots and you would need to start adding them back, one at a time, until you find the failing slot.
