Dell Optiplex 790 Full Size Upright Desktop - System Drive Port

Hi Gang

I have an older Optiplex 790 (which stands straight up - not on its side). I'm looking to find out which sata port is the correct port for the SYSTEM Drive, (not the 2nd storage drive port). Sorry I removed both drives, (one system drive and 2nd storage drive) for transport, (I moved). Now I'm getting the system back together. BTW one of the sata cables has a piece of 'OEM Blue Tape' tagged to one end.

Thanx for your help!

One of the SATA ports will have a blue connector on the mainboard.  That's the first SATA channel, usually used for the boot drive.

Thank you - and that would be designated '0' on the logic board yes?
