DELL OptiPlex 5050 drivers/errors
Hello,
A few weeks ago I acquired a DELL Optiplex 5050 running Windows 10 Pro and I’m still finding my way around the machine and the operating system... Looking at the Event Viewer initially caused me some concern but various sites on the ‘net confirm that others are experiencing similar errors.
One of these issues relates to DELL and hopefully someone on here may be able to help.
When I run various diagnostic checks via the DELL UK Support webpages I then find that Dell System Detect brings up an error 0 in my Event Viewer. Last night I uninstalled Dell System Detect and re-installed it but the errors still occur. What is causing this?
Also every time I connect to the DELL UK Support site to check for driver updates I’m offered the Intel Management Engine Components Installer version 11.60.1047, A01. I have downloaded and installed this on more than one occasion but it still comes up every time I check for driver updates. I see this was a documented issue some time ago, was it ever sorted or does it still exist and if so I can presumably ignore it?
Thank you,
John

optijohn,
If you have already updated the drivers you can ignore the popup to update the drivers.
