DELL Monitor doesn't display POST ON STARTUP
I have been having this problem on and off for a few months until I finally decided to leave the computer on 24/7. I have been able to get a screen if I count to 10 after turning on the PC. If the DELL logo appears I quickly press F2 and goninto repair and recovery which will eventually fix it and it will run. If not, I just keep trying the monitor power plug until the DELL LOGO DISPLAYS. Currently, I have not counted accurately enough so just wait until I hear the Windows OS start up; then I can actually log in by just typing in my password as the cursor begins in the login field... then I hear my home screen beep signal so I know it's working. I just can't guess at when to plug in the power cord to get the DELL logo to start the recovery...
How can I get the monitor to display without all of this!?!?

Thank you for your message.
Please disconnect all the cables from the monitor, press & hold down the power button for 30 seconds, this will release the static. Connect only the power cable & turn on the monitor & check if there is any delay in the display of self-test screen.
What is the system model/ video card in question here?
For my reference, please click on my Dell username & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.
