Dell Inspiron One 2320
So my Dell Inspiron One 2320 will not turn on when i plug it in. when ever i plug it in, the power button turns amber and the fan runs on high speed, but no display on the screen. the one time it did try to turn on; the power button actually stayed white, my baby cousin unplugged the cord from the wall:emotion-20: and now its right back to where it was, the amber light of death.
Can anyone give me any ideas on how to solve this?

Solid White Power button LED = The computer is in power-on state.
Solid Amber Power button LED = The motherboard cannot start initialization. There may be an issue with the motherboard, memory, processor or the power supply.
It is hard to say which component is failing based on the above description. Consider taking this 2011 computer to a local repair store. They could disassemble it, replace the coin cell CMOS battery, reset the memory, disconnect/reconnect all cabling. Perhaps they have another AC adapter that they could test.

Solid amber or blinking amber?
* Disconnect the AC Adapter from the computer and the wall power outlet
* Press and hold in the computer power button for 10 seconds
* Connect the AC Adapter to the wall outlet. Then connect it to the computer
* Press the power button. What happens?
