bios splash screen

I have purchased a GX260 computer from a company that has put company info in the bios splash screen. Also has asset tag info in the bios. How can i get rid of this stuff?

Try flashing the BIOS to the latest version for your system. This usually takes care of it but apart from that I am not sure that there is a way for you to do it unless you get ahold of the file that does this.

Just be aware that flashing to BIOS vA07 can be hazardous to the health of your motherboard.  I'd try vA06 instead.

You can download the Asset utility from the website.

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R109071&formatcnt=1&fileid=141647

use asset /o /d to delete the owner tag and asset /d to delete the asset tag.
