What Brand of the GTX 1080 Ti is in my Alienware Area 51 R2?

Hello everyone! I was really needing to ask what brand is in my area 51. It looks like the GTX 1080 Ti Aero ASUS, But there are no ASUS texts branded into the card. As I may want to have SLI in the future, can anyone help identify the card? It has a red circuit board, and looks green and black just like the ASUS Aero but with no logo on the card.

Thanks!

MSI / Micro Star Intl. Aero, same folks that make the mthrbrd, sans external branding for OEM use, red pcb instead of black, HwInfo or similar software might be able to retrieve the hardware ID. Shame they don't get stability braces or a trick SLI bridge

Thanks for identifying it! A few questions though, can I buy this GPU from a shop on the internet? Also, can I SLI this card with a different brand of 1080 Ti? Thanks!

*From its service tag, above we see my R9 290x is part# 8KWNV

I believe these are made special and the 1st place to look for one is from Dell Sales by 1st finding the 5digit Dell part# (DP/N) of the card on the part tag or by running your service tag and checking Grfx under Original Configuration, see what a chat or call will turn up, I'm certain they must be purchased by exact part# (on the card is best place to find it, on the PCB for instance); from there, in my experience, Dell will cut surplus inventory loose for many reasons to vendors all over the country who may get these in inventory then list them on eBay or whatever a google search will turn up --> whether it goes by a name, by computer or part# is anyone's guess, but I suspect you might see a slow leak of these as surplus starting whenever. Last hope is a another owner who's selling used or new pull

As for mixing cards I would consult the GeForce Forum, perhaps here or wait for someone who uses Nvidia cards which I mostly do not

FAQ "Will these two cards work in SLI?" SLI: What works with what?

Noob question - Can you SLI a 1080ti with nvida and gigabyte 'founder edt'???

Google: Can I mix 1080Ti

A companion post on AlienArena might hasten the answer, I do not have time to look into SLI answers tonight, I suspect the easiest answer might be to purchase a new MSI Aero as the closest match if it comes to that

i wouldn't spend the cash to SLI a 1080TI  bro.... a simple 1080 at 8GB will handle all games at 4k
