New Alienware R6 Thermal Temps
Hello,
I recently got a new aurora R6 and I did a GTA V benchmark test and the GPU went up to 83c and my knowledge of computers says that's a tad High. Can you guys shine some light if it's just my paranoia or something is not right.
specs:
i7 7700K - Alienware OEM closed loop water cooled
GTX 1080 OEM Dell
460w PSU - I know bad move
16GB Memory
I recently started monitoring my Temps with CAM but when I saw the 83c I was using HWMONITOR by CPUID
Thanks You

I think 83c on a GTX-1080 (at full utilization) is OK. It can go to 99c, IIRC.
Set Thermal Controller to Manual (uphill) Curves. Adjust Curve for Front Fan to be a bit more extreme.

On the one screen, select Manual. Other the other select Use Curve.
You can try different linked Sensors (I've been using "CPU-Sensor" lately).

Do I have to select the % or should just leave it the way it is?

Whatever works best for you.
For example, the minimum could be 10% and the Max could be 90%.
