My alienware 17 r4 voes to "preparing to fix computer" then " cannot fix computer" what do i do?

Can you explain a little bit better what is the issue the system is having?

Yes, when I turned on my R4 it got to the Alienware screen, and then went straight into " diagnosing computer. It went all the way through , but ended up with " can't repair computer". . I ended up doing a windows reset, and kept my files. I can at least use it now, but It's not right at all. I have no sound, nor touch pad? I've done the trouble shooting for both issues, to no avail. I was even thinking about complete reset, and re- install.

Does anyone have any ideas? I use this computer for work as well, so it really kills me.
