I have an annoyable issue that when i click on mouse left click and draw mouse to sides, windows 10 blue selecting screen shuttering, lagging. after 2-3 sec it comes to normal. However it should be running by intel HD 530 graphics on desktop. I relaized that my computer only using GTX 1070 graphics. I can not even find intel graphics control center icon when i make right click. Please see the pictures, i uninstalled all video card drivers and re-installed from dell website, still no help.

Do you have any ideas why i am having this trouble? My friend has an 17 R3 with nvidia 980 graphics and he has intel graphic control center and his notebook just working as it should be.

Hallo.

do you have 3D or G-Sync Display installed? if yes, then you can't use the Intel HD 530 at all. it should be automatically disabled.

as for the Lag, download and install the latest Tobii Eye Tracking Software from Tobii.com Website. maybe it gets better.

Edit:

Double Click on the GPUs in Device Manager. can you see an Error Code? if yes, then post it here PLZ.

Hi there!

thank you for your answer, I have G-sync display installed device which explains why computer doesnt use intel graphics. I have checked GPU's in device manager and seems like everything just fine. Which you mean that this lagging issue can be because of tobii software ?

yes. some people have this Issue with certain Tobii Eye Tracking Versions. but it is not exclusive to this Software. it could be different Application or faulty Hard Drive for Example. to check your Hard Disk download Crystal Disk Info and run it. the Application explains itself.

you can check Windows Reliability History or Event Viewer for Errors. google if you don't know what this is. sometimes you see what Application makes Troubles. if you can find one later, try to re-install this particular Software or Driver. if Reliability Monitor / Event Viewer shows Hardware Errors, then you have to call Dell Support.

so Reliability Monitor and Event Viewer are Clean? no Errors there?

here are some Ideas:

run Windows in Save Mode and see if the Problem persists.

open Nvidia Control Panel and choose Performance Mode, then restart your Laptop . see if it helps.

open Device Manager and disable both LAN and WLAN Cards. see if it gets better.

uninstall Nvidia GPU Driver and check again.

try these Things first before we hit your Laptop with Latency Monitor.

I will check all you wrote and advise. But for now, please see attached events of log. Sorry my windows is in Turkish but these are all errors.

I tried all of options that you provided. Still no result  unfurtunality

good God....

maybe try to re-install Windows. i have old Systems at home with much less Errors then your new Laptop.

i admit, most of the Errors are old and probably not important but you have a few recent ones like ID 37 which are  Processor Stability related. do you have the latest BIOS Version installed? if no, do it next.

yes i have the latest version of bios. 1.1.8

Now i stopped tobii eye tracking , closed the program from tray table and killed from system management. Seems that everything goes fine. No lugging issues like it was. I already re-installed windows 10 3 times because of this. After working hour, i will save all my data and restart the computer for further investigation.

I have the latest drivers, i also tried from dell support site which they published . Still the same. Today i also run diagnostics via bios, everything with hardware is fine thanks God.

Yea, i will try 1-3 days and keep you all posted for whom has this problem.

LOL , yea actually i beleive that i solved the problem because of you. thank you for support but its very annoying not to be able using tobii eye for which i paid more.

I'm not sure if my comments will apply to your model (I have the 4k 'UHD' screen, no Gsync), but a couple of things to be aware of:

- My model has the option of a "Performance Mode" by pressing Fn-F7 which (after reboot) seems to toggle the Nvidia GPU to be used at all times.  Normally I don't use this.

- Also, the "Intel HD Graphics Control Panel" is kind of weirdly hard to find... I can't find it anywhere in Program Files, I only find an icon I can right click on in the system ~taskbar/tray (whatever the lower right area is called).

You might try checking those things.  The Intel control panel might only be available when "performance mode" is toggled Off.  (?)
