That is really nifty but expensively pointless. The potential for standard 2.5" ssd's cannot be met due to sata III connector. And they a greater capacity for the cash. I am going with and 850 evo for the money. On my r1 I used the mSATA as the boot for speed and the rest of the HDD were 850 500 gb ssd's.
If it is just you thing the M.2 adapter(case) should be able to be googled. Good luck

your wording here really confuses me to what exactly your looking to do.
do you want to replace your boot drive, a hard disk drive, to a m.2 based solid state drive?
I don't understand why you say case...
The alienware 13 R2 does support m.2 ssd's.
I recommend a Samsung 950 pro or 950 evo m.2 ssd. make sure it is NVME formatted and has enough storage for all your games.
to physically install the drive take off the back cover and put it in the little m.2 slot and screw it down. lots of youtube videos on it.
to get windows loaded onto the ssd you need to get a transfer tool like todo free backup utility.
I'm not going to explain that process many people have showed step by step ways to do this as well.
if you mean something else by case hdd to case m.2 please tell me what that is
