High network usage coming from Alienware command center
Hello. Recently I notice a drop in speed in my internet connection. Upon investigating the cause, I noticed consistent connections being made by the Alienware command center in the network activity section of the resource monitor. A constant spike every second or so that was being created by the AWCCservicecontroller.exe, the Commandcenter.exe and the thermalcontroller.exe. When this is happening the TCP Connections graph is pegged with activity. 100%.
In the TCP Connections section, of the resource monitor, it shows the following eight instances running -
AWCCservicecontroller.exe
AWCCservicecontroller.exe
AWCCservicecontroller.exe
AWCCservicecontroller.exe
Commandcenter.exe
Commandcenter.exe
Commandcenter.exe
thermalcontroller.exe
Is this normal behavior? Does the Command Center call out and receive data from the net? And the thermal controller, why is it trying to call and receive?

It's just the various parts of Command Center suite communicating with themselves, and the unique AW-CC system hardware. I think it's a throw-back to the old days. Now-days, most of the AW-CC and MIO-Board hardware is virtualized, but the core software comm. architecture stayed similar.
There was a recent post of someone asking the same thing as you, and we chatted some about it, but can't really find it right now. Over the past 7 years, about 10 users have noticed it. Nothing is broken.
If you are having network problems, I would look elsewhere. Good luck if you are just using WiFi.

if you have Internet Connection Issue then check for Errors elsewhere. Network Adapter or Router Settings, other Devices, other Apps, Anti Virus / Firewalls etc....
if you need more Help then please post more Info. what Network Adapter and Router are you using and what exactly happens and all that Stuff.
Edit:
Fixed my Post.
