Hi, Im having performance issues with certain games.
Hi yesterday I was getting about 110 fps on subanautica but today im getting 70-80. Mine craft Im barely getting 50-60 and my settings are normal. my cousin has a weaker computer than me an is running shader mods and getting above 60 and im having some issues running the base games. How can i make sure its using the right graphic card? My computer I purchased is beefy so I dont understand. Thank you for your time. Is it cause im putting games on the 256 ssd instead of the 1tb hard drive

There are lots of useless background processes running on windows 10 INCLUDING but not Limited to Upgrading Peers (strangers) with windows update on the internet and on your local net. ISATap and IP6 and Teredo are also not needed and make these things worse.
You can open an administrative command prompt and run
netsh int ipv6 isatap set state disabled
netsh int ipv6 6to4 set state disabled
netsh interface teredo set state disable
To re-enable isatap teredo nd 6to4, just replace the disabled with type=default.
Launch the start menu and turn ALL LIVE TILES to OFF. Disable Live Tiles in Windows 10. Disable a Single Tile. In order to turn off a single Windows 10 live tile, just go the start menu and right click on the tile you want to get rid off. When you right click, you will see a list where an option named “More” will be placed. Go to it and you will see the option to turn off the tile.
Then UNISTALL ANY APPS YOU DONT NEED.
How to disable background apps in Windows 10. Click the Windows 10 Start icon on your desktop. Go to “Settings”. On the settings menu, select “Privacy”. On the privacy window, you’ll see a list of options on the left pane. On the right pane, you’ll see a list of apps that are running in the background. To stop an app from running in the background, simply switch it “OFF” and that’s it. The same method applies to apps that you’ve downloaded from the Microsoft Store.
also its not shown but there is a slider bar to the far right aka there are HIDDEN things that you have to drag down to see in this menu. Maps in this example is not the bottom there are OTHER things below maps that you have to scroll to. IMHO ALL should be turned off. SKYPE APP should be UNINSTALLED to get rid of unless you actually use it.
DISABLE STRANGERS ON THE INTERNET UPDATE.
Under control Panel, Settings,
Advanced Options
Choose How Useless updates are Delivered
Change to local then switch the nonsense off.

Service Tag is barcode and serial number. Its on the outside and its on the F2 BIOS Setup screen and you can read it via powershell or WMICFG.
