GPU upgrading problem
I have an alienware aurora R5 , and I would like to change the GPU. Do I have to buy reference design GPU since the other custom GPU size are slightly larger to fit the casing.

Hi louischiew,
Yes, the validated cards for Nvidia / AMD are the reference cards (unmodified). For example this is the reference version for the GTX1080, the specifications on this card are the validated ones. We are not saying that non-reference cards will not work, but we can not confirm the functionality, since we can't validate all cards.
If you want to use a non-reference card just make sure the length is equal or less than 10,5''.
