EVGA 1080ti black edition compatible with AGA?

I have a Alienware 17R2 and graphics amplifier. I am trying to buy a EVGA 11080ti black edition and put the video card in my AGA. I talked to one customer representative that AGA cannot support video cards requiring 460W more power supply while 1080ti needs 500W. However, I saw a couple of messaged that the 1080ti could be compatible with AGA. I am kind of confused about this and wonder if any specialist could help me figure it out. By the way, I have two Dell S2716DG 144hz monitors, can I hoop my laptop with AGA and the monitors at the same time? Thank you.

Hi leaflucas.

another User here on this Forum is using a Titan Xp. which requires 600W Power Supply. besides, your Card actually requires only 250W. the 500W / 600W are theoretical Figures which usually include the entire PC. you are good to go.

if your Monitors have Displayport then yes, you can use them both. otherwise you will need a DP to HDMI Adapter because the EVGA Card has only one HDMI Port and 3 x Displayport.

BTW. i am not a Specialist. the two Pros we have on this Board usually don't post on Weekends.

Thank you so much for your quick response. Yes, I have already used a mini DP to DP adapter to hook the external monitor, and I think the video card should work fine based on your answer. Totally appreciate.
