Aurora Liquid Cooling Kit > http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/aurora-liquid-cooling-kit/apd/412-aajj/pc-accessories/

R5 R6 compatible, perhaps R7, contact Dell for compatibility or different part# if applicable

APARENTLY YOU CANT ADD BOARDS TO ACOMADATE 3000 MEMORY > what, you mean can't do a motherboard swap? That should be common knowledge amongst the R5 R6 community by now at least, the R7 owners will find that out soon enough

A day before this post, a 'Wizz12' asked on Arena 'Can i change out my board in the R7 aurora to fit the 3000mhz memory i already own' > https://na.alienwarearena.com/ucf/show/1811732/boards/technical-support-1/ForumPost/can-i-change-out-my-board-in-the-r7-aurora-to-fit-the-3000mhz-memory-i-already-own > to which I replied 'not without a DremelTool, due to the permanent rear I/O shield trim plate lasercut (or stamped) into the rear chassis which basically nullifies all user attempts to upgrade / swap, save for the die-hard'; in this 'companion post', I took the opening statement 'can not add boards' as a disgruntled reference to 'I just learned that aftermarket / retail motherboards don't work, so what about a cooler upgrade'

Aurora uses a 9.6 x 9.6 micro-ATX (m-ATX u-ATX µ-ATX) form factor motherboard, the Asus X Hero is a full ATX 12 x 9.6 form factor & would never fit, not even w/a Dremeltool (well, mebbe --> heehee), a person would need a micro-ATX Asus + Dremel, would then need to mod / adapt the front panel power on switch wiring & would most likely lose all case lights due to proprietary LED controller connector that appears to only work w/OEM board until an involved mod occurs that no one's performed yet, to recover lights. I do believe I got the cooling kit right at least ... ... ...
