AW2518H not compatible with AlienFX on 15r3?

Yeah we tried that.  I was on the phone with tech support for over 2 hours while they did remote access to install drivers from the disc that came with the monitor then from the internet. She went into the registry and completely removed control center and reinstalled it but still the same problem. She said they were going to  escalate my case to the next level and that I would hear back soon. I just wonder if the cable I got from Best Buy is bad quality or what. The box says for Mac but the guy said it didn’t make a difference.

Okay so here is an update.  After talking with the guys at Alienware customer service they told me that none of the alienware monitors support changing to lighting through the command center on the computer.  this is hard for me to believe when the monitor ships with the drivers for alienfx and it shows up in my command center with graphics and all just says that it is incompatible . no lighting zones or anything. does anyone have the ability to change lighting form command center?

Check the monitor's manual, you should be able to change the lights with the OSD on the monitor, but not with the Command Center.
