Aurora R6 not booting from Samsung 960 Pro when in AHCI mode
Dell ... can you please provide any updates as to a BIOS fix for this ? Many people have been complaining about this issue and there are many possible workarounds online but none seems to work.

Unfortunately this drive is still not validated so we can't give you an official answer. But here you can see some other users with suggestions on this:

I was hoping you might get an answer.
I think the best thread is here:
Aurora R6 selected boot device failed
Since users have reported that the latest Aurora-R6 BIOS still didn't fix fit, I'm wondering if it has something to do with Intel Optane. To bad since most people seem to be using their one M.2 slot for a normal PCIe/NVMe SSD. I know I do and that's also how Dell sells it.

Thanks . Please keep us updated as soon as you have an answer. It is very frustrating having a top ssd like the samsung 960 pro and not being able to fully utilize its functionalities.
