Alienware X51 R2 and Broadwell-K CPUs w Iris Pro (i5-5675C and i7-5775C)?

My question is regarding the Alienware X51 R2, which ships with LGA1150 socket support for 4th generation Intel Core CPUs.

The 5th-gen Broadwell socketed CPUs were released with a total of two chips.. the i5-5675C and i7-5775C. These CPUs are LGA1150 compatible and have the Iris Pro iGPU as well as eDRAM (making these uber-unique socketed CPUs).

Since 4th-gen motherboards need a BIOS update to support LGA1150 CPUs released after the motherboard, my question is if the most current BIOS update for the Alienware X51 R2 gives it compatibility with the two Broadwell-K CPUs?

If not... would the Alienware engineers be so kind to consider one last BIOS update for the system to enable support for these Iris Pro enabled CPUs?

Hi,

Unfortunately no, the last Bios doesn't support that and engineering wont release any other BIOS enabling those CPUs.
