Alienware X51 R1 not boot after bios upgraded to a14
I upgraded bios version from a07 to a14, and then the x51 is not booting. It stucks at the end of alienware logo screen and I can hear a short beep when the progress bar go to full but nothing happens next, just freeze there.
I can press F2 to enter bios setup or F12.
I removed all hard drivers, but x51 still behaves the same.
I remove the graphic card and use motherboad hdmi output, still the same.
Reset default in bios setup, still the same.
Any suggestion or help is much appreciated!
Thanks.

Hi jaychen_atr.
try Clear CMOS / Power Drain. disconnect all Cables, remove the Coin Cell Battery and then hold Power On Button for a Minute. turn On the X51, go into the BIOS Settings and change some Boot Settings. try UEFI Mode, Secure Boot Disabled first and if it doesn't work switch BIOS to Legacy Mode. pick Windows Boot Manager as Boot Device #1.

The steps actually work! I only have done the following ones:
1. Go to bios setup and change boot setting to UEFI, then reboot, no luck.
2. Go to bios setup and change the boot setting back to legacy mode, then reboot, and it worked!
I think bios upgrading somehow mess up the boot settings. Really appreciated for your help! And I hope the steps are helpful for other people having the same issue.
