Alienware aurora r5 graphics card
When I got my Alienware aurora r5 the first thing I did was opened it up and noticed that the graphics card did not look like a normal nvidia GeForce gtx but instead it was this all black video card and I was wonder why it didn't have the normal led that light up on the side? I was really looking forward to that glowing in my case . Could someone please tell me why or tell me if this black thing is removable to reveal the real graphics card.

Hi,
This is an OEM Graphics card. That is why it does not have that. The performance is the same, but it doesn't look the same.

It is a DELL OEM card, that is why it looks like that. It is not the nVidia OEM one. There are many different OEM versions.

It is a Nvidia graphics processor on the card. They should make it more clear to new customers that they no longer stock the Founders Edition, considering EVERY review, including their own, show a Founders Edition. I ordered mine with a reasonable expectation that the Founders Edition would be included. We will see when it arrives on Monday.

Cpoll11,
It is an Nvidia card, and has the same specs as a card that would say nVidia on the outside. It was simply made specifically for DELL, and that is why it looks different.
