Alienware Aurora Headset Problem

I recently got the Alienware Aurora in order to play Overwatch and other games. Whenever I try to use my Razer Kraken Pro headset the mic doesn't pick up when I plug it into the headphone jack. But when I plug it into the microphone jack the mic DOES work but I can't hear any audio coming from my computer. Is there any way to be able to use the mic in my headset or would I need to buy a need headset altogether? I had a similar problem on my Alienware 13 laptop but was able to fix it. I've tried messing with the Realtek Audio Manager as well but nothing seems to work. (BTW I'm not very experienced with gaming desktops and such, if you couldn't tell already)

i don't know exactly what Model you have. my old Razer Kraken Headset came with different Connectors if i remember correctly. don't you have something similar? Cable Splitter for Example? it looks like your Headset was ment to be used with PS4 and XBox One and not PC.

Edit:

my Headset Model was wrong.

To use the analog audio ports on the Aurora R5/R6 , you must use both jacks concurrently. The jack must have:

Headphone (3 bands)
Mic (2 bands)

Then you test and config in Control Panel/Sound.

i checked your Model online and you should have a Cable Splitter lying around, not USB Adapter.
