Alienware Area 51 PHOBOS Thermal Controller Problem

I have called dell,i have updated bios . i have reinstalled command center. i have bought a new SSD Hard drive Installed  windows 7 , updated that to service pack 1. installed the drivers on the alienware resource disk . still the fallowing window appears when the pc starts in windows. the funny thing is before installing any alienware drivers the pc had no issues start up was fast so was shut down . no freezing or locking up . installed  the alienware drivers problems. the only thing that is going on is this ......System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'AlienLabs.ThermalControls.Controller.Classes.ThermalControlsTaskbarIcon' threw an exception. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: Could not create icon data
   at AlienLabs.CommandCenter.Tools.Classes.TaskbarIcon.TaskbarIcon.CreateTaskbarIcon()

   at MS.Internal.Threading.ExceptionFilterHelper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate method, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler)

. the last email i got was from alienware say this . based on your problem description we can call you back to help you. the service fee is $129, this will include : A - Call back to diagnose and provide resolutions path. B - OSRI operative system reinstallation. C - Drivers and applications installation.

My questions are .Is this worth the money? will it work? is this my only options?

I did a fresh install and drivers. my only thought is that they are going to use the drivers they have on there support site instead of the ones i used on the resource cd. any help would be awesome. Thanks for your time

Use Dell's bootable 32bit Diags to test your hardware and MIO-Board.

See my featured content for how to "build-up" a Area51-R1 from scratch.
