Alienware Alpha R2 warranty question
I've modded my R2 case a bit ti be able to fit an xbox one wireless reciever dongle int the bottom usb port(which is what i imagine it was designed for). Does this void my warranty in any way?

Hi,
We would say that as long as the machine wasn't damaged in the process, it should not be voided. Also, remember that on Alienware machines, replacing components or opening the machine doesn't void the warranty either.

Great to hear. If you've seen the bottom usb slot on the Alpha R2 it's like they planned on you being able to cut some extra away to accomadate a bigger dongle. If i had to complain i'd say they could have made it a snap out piece. The system suits my needs perfectly by the way. Thanks for the reply!!
