Alienware 17 RW - Bad pool caller Help!

Hello

I'm desperate for help to fix my Windows blue screen Bad Pool Caller error. It's been happening randomly ever since I took the (very expensive!) laptop out of the box.

I read another post and did a dump file thing but now I don't know what to do.

Can anyone help?

Hi juliecyprus.

what we see in your Screenshot is just an Overview. it would be nice if you post the entire Text of the DumpFile next Time. i glanced over your Screenshot and didn't see any Driver that could cause all your Bluescreens. Edit: i have more Time now and i googled "Rfeco10x64.sys". it looks like it is a Part of the Killer Network Software. so uninstall the Killer Drivers and Software and install the latest Version.

you should also update your BIOS and other Drivers.

Edit:

Updated my Post.

Hi,

I agree, that error appears to be related to the Killer software. To uninstall the driver, open Device Manger, expand the "Network Adapter" categories and right click to uninstall the driver (check the box to delete the driver software as well). After doing this, restart the system and install the Killer driver again. You can try using the driver from the Dell site, click on the link below to download it.

MALWARE

The real

rfeco10x64.sys's description is "RN Traffic Control Callout Driver"

rfeco10x64.sys should be digitally signed by Rivet Networks LLC.

rfeco10x64.sys should be located in the 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\ folder.

Fake rfeco10x64.sys is spyware which connects with various fake antivirus Adware and Malware

This did not come from Dell.  It only takes seconds after getting on the internet to click a bad link.

You have infected yourself with driveby download
