XPS 13 9350 Touchpad Issues

So for numerous months now, the clicks on my XPS 13 touchpad have not registered. Tapping and scrolling work properly the majority of the time, but sometimes I will have to hold the touchpad down in the clicked position in order to move my cursor. Also, sometimes single taps will register as right clicks. Also sometimes ghost clicks will register. And finally, palm detection is no longer functioning.

I have looked into software-based solutions, but I run Ubuntu 20.04, and there are limited resources for this issue available for my OS. None of them have worked.

I am assuming I just need to replace my touchpad, but I wanted to make sure I'm not missing an idea.
