XPS 13 (9350) laptop not detecting U4919DW monitor on USB-C

I just bought U4919DW monitor. The chat support on Dell.com told me that it is suppose to work with XPS 13 (9350). However after connecting the monitor to the laptop it is not detected on USB-C.

I hear sound of plug and play and then nothing happens. I suspect this is some driver issue. Can anyone please help?
