xps 13 9310 internal microphone doesnt work only external
I spent several hours with Dell support, and we could not find a solution to this problem. The BIOS is the latest 2.2.0 All microphone connection specifications are correct and there are no visible errors. Does anyone have a proposal?

Don't know if you resolved this, but my laptop had the same issue (older XPS laptop running linux. In my case, am update from the 5.10 kernel to 5.13 solved it (the mic was working on an older 5.4 kernel, which made suspect kernel regression). If you've got the realtek hardware, and are running around the 5.10 kernel, try upgrading (or downgrading) the kernel, as it appears the hdaudio driver has a big in the 5.10-ish kernels
