Vostro 5490, Ubuntu 18.04, font size issue
I recovered the default Ubuntu via Dell recovery image. Now the font looks too small on my Vostro 5490. As far I know, Ubuntu 18.04 doesn't support fractional scaling. In such a case, what should be done to increase the visibility as the font is really too small? I use another monitor along with my Vostro 5490. So increasing the scaling with gnome-tweak also increases all the components of my second display.

* Turn both the Vostro 5490 and external monitor off
* Disconnect all monitor cabling from the Vostro 5490
* Turn the Vostro 5490 on
* Adjust the font size. Once done, reconnect the external monitor
* Run the monitor menu Factory Reset
* Check the monitor font size
